Analysis of the match between Brighton and Tottenham
Brighton have had a shaky start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, claiming just one win in four games and currently sitting 13th in the table. However, their sole victory so far was highly impressive, as the Seagulls defeated Man City 2-1.
Having beaten a title contender like Man City, Brighton are fully capable of challenging Tottenham this weekend, especially with the home advantage at the Amex Stadium. Brighton also have a strong recent home record, including a 3-2 win over Liverpool in the second half of last season.
Nevertheless, Tottenham are a strong side with several star players under the guidance of manager Thomas Frank. They have won four, drawn one, and lost one of their last six matches, and recently beat Villarreal 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
Overall, Brighton hold the home advantage and are unlikely to lose. However, securing all three points against Tottenham will require some luck. A draw appears to be the most reasonable outcome for both sides.
