Analysis of the match between Ludogorets and Shkëndija
Ludogorets are struggling with form, having gone three consecutive matches without a win. After overcoming Dinamo Minsk and Rijeka, they suffered a heavy 0-3 defeat to Ferencvaros in the Champions League qualifiers, which pushed them down to the Europa League 2025/26 play-off round.
On the other side, Shkendija shared a similar fate after failing to get past Qarabag in Europe’s top-tier club competition. However, the North Macedonian side have reasons to be confident ahead of their trip to Ludogorets. In fact, they have lost only once in their last six away matches (excluding friendlies).
While Shkendija have shown resilience on the road, Ludogorets have managed to win just one of their last four home games. Moreover, with a 2-1 first-leg victory already in hand, Shkendija only need a draw to progress – a target that seems well within their reach.
