Analysis of the match between Liverpool and Southampton
Southampton endured a nightmare 2024/25 campaign, finishing rock bottom of the Premier League with just 12 points from 38 matches—ten behind Ipswich in 19th place. They were relegated with seven rounds to spare, setting an unwanted record as the worst team in Premier League history.
